Parent Child Class Session 1 (8 classes)

Location: Santa Fe Waldorf School, Early Childhood Building, Pre-School classroom
Class orientation meeting: Saturday, March 15 | 11:00am-12:00pm
Ages: Parents plus children at least one year old (who are walking) to children three years of age
The Parent Child class provides a setting for parents and their children to join with a Waldorf teacher for a number of activities appropriate for this developmental stage of childhood, including: indoor and outdoor creative play, circle time with stories and rhymes, tidy time and nutritious snacks. Each activity aims to address critical issues around physical and mental development of the young child and how parents can foster this development through creative activities, establishing nourishing rhythms in daily life, and crafting an atmosphere conducive to imaginative play.

Ages: Parents plus children aged six weeks to one year.
The Parent Infant class focuses on the developmental stages of the child from six weeks to one year. It centers on creating a nurturing environment for the young child and provides a venue for parents to explore the wonders of infancy. Expectant parents are also welcome in this class.
